Programs at Skyline Ranch
Skyline Ranch Riding Lessons:
Skyline offers riding lessons for beginners, intermediates and advanced riders.
- 45-minute Private Lesson: $40* – $60**
- 1-hour Semi-Private Lesson: $30* – $50**
- 1-hour Group Lesson: $20* – $40**
*Using own or a sponsored horse
** Using School horse
For Beginners:
- Skyline offers beginning English riding lessons, in the balanced seat position. Beginners work 1-on-1 with an instructor until they have the confidence and skill to join a group lesson.
- Our beginners learn about grooming, basic horse care, and handling of horses, as well as riding. Actual riding time is about 1/2 hour, with the rest of the lesson covering grooming and tacking up the horse.
Skyline Therapeutic Riding Program:
Enriching the lives of people with special needs by using therapeutic, equine programs to:
- Improve physical, mental, social and emotional well-being,
- Promote disability-awareness while recognizing each individual’s abilities,
- Provide educational and recreational opportunities,
- Provide direct therapy services by trained professionals.
